A delegation of our university headed by Mr. Hu Jun, president of our university visited universities in Turkey, Egpty and The United Arab Emirates from November 23rd to December 1st.
They visited Middle East Technical University and Koc University in Turkey, Cairo University, Ain Shams University, American University of Shajah, American University in Dubai, and Skyline University College etc.
 

In Middle East Technical University and Koc University in Turkey, Mr. Hu Jun et al visited their information science research centers, and had exchanges with their research team etc. Professor Zhang Zhenqiang (dean of college of Sciences & Technology of our university) and Professor Weng Jian (dean of the College of the Information Science) shared their achievements and their research teams, towards which representatives of the Middle East Technical University and Koc University showed keen interest and expressed their wish to visit our university.

Cairo University, cradle of many Arabian political leaders and Ain Shams University are the best two university in Egypt, always occupying No.1 and No.2 on Egypt universities ranking list. Our university signed collaborative memorandum with Ain Shams University and made cooperative agreement with Cairo University on information science, physics, Chinese language teaching and graduate exchange programs etc.

In The United Arab Emirates, Mr. Hu Jun et al visited American University of Shajah, American University in Dubai, and Skyline University College to have research on the three University’s experience on international cooperation and overseas talent recruitment, and signed  memorandum of cooperation with Skyline University College.

In Turkey, Mr. Hu Jun had in-depth discussions with Mr. Yu Hongyang, Chinese ambassador to Turkey and Mr. Zhu Zihao, the educational counselor. Their topics covered the hot spots such as the present political development in middle east, and the living and education of Chinese in Turkey. They made agreement on the role of our university, the paramount university for overseas Chinese in overseas Chinese education under “The Belt and The Road” Policy.
