The awarding ceremony of the first National Mathmatics Micro Course Design Competition was held from November 6th to 8th. The three teachers of our university made good results and attended the awarding ceremony. Among them, Huang Jianfeng wins the National Second Prize, and Yan Zhongweng wins South China District First Prize. Wu Chiye wins a South China District Best Award and a South China Second Award.

The competition was jointly undertaken by the Teaching Steering Committee of College Mathmatics Couse of the Minstry of Education, National Higher Institute Teaching Research Center and and etc. The competition composed of three phases, namely, on-campus qualification competition, preliminary contests in 7 disticts and national finalist. The purpose of holding this competition is to encourage and push forward the integration of information technology and maths teaching in college, to mobolize teachers to adapt to latest teaching methodology and to improve their teaching skills etc.
