Professor. Brooke Hallowell from Ohio University, USA donated books to our university on behalf of Plural Publishing House. The donation ceremony was held on September 15th in the 1st Affiliated Hospital of our university. Representatives from 1st Affiliated University, College of Chinese Language and Culture, Department of Teaching Affairs, International Affairs Office, Library etc.
Prof. Brooke Hallowell is engaged in the study in the field of Communication science and disorders, language therapy and the aging society education etc and has made great contributions. In his visit to Jinan University, he brought to us 103 English books on hearing, languages and speeches etc, the latest works in the fields, on behalf the Plural Publishing House. The 1st Affiliated University built a Plural Publishing House Reading Room for these books so that students and faculties can get access to these books and also to commemorate Dr. Sadanand Singh,the late chairman of the Publishing House for his great contribution in the publishing of works in hearing, languages and speeches.
