The opening ceremony of the 31th Overseas Chinese Talents and Arts Class undertaken by Jinan University was held on June 5th . More than 40 overseas Chinese students from 12 countries and regions were to have a 15-day study in Jinan University.

The 31th Overseas Chinese Talents and Arts Class includes two categories: Martial Art Class and waist drum class. Mentors and coaches have been invited from Sha’anxi Province and Guangdong Province to provide professional training for all the students. The core of the courses are basic techniques and movements of martial arts and waist drum playing. Chinese traditions and culture, knowledge of martial arts and waist drum are Incorporated into the courses. Also,students will have chance to have hands-on experience of dragon and lion dancing and have a Linnan (South China) culture trip.
