On the evening of Friday, Mar. 21, an event of jogging just came on time, on the Xuri Stadium in JNU. That is JNU FRIDAY SPLENDID NIGHT! The event lasted for an hour, attracting more than 1000 students.  2000 light sticks twinkled the whole stadium and some talented students autonomously gave performance in the middle of the stadium. The event is just as its name --- splendid.

The event was organized by Zeng Tuoyu and Chen Yuming, from 2012 FIN. They took the advantage of League Construction Program in International School in JNU and were assisted by Broadcast Station in JNU. A public platform of What You Need was set up in WeChat to promote the event. Offline the event was publicized through JNU FM and by posters designed by Broadcast Station. The poster in Wechat was forwarded more than 800 times in merely two days, and was browsed more than ten thousand times, which is greatly out of organizers' expectation.

Knowing the events, many students contacted the organizer to offer their help. And through a discussion, the team decided to increase more than 1000 light sticks to decorate the stadium. 8 o'clock in the evening, the team together with some other volunteers started to prepare for the event. During the process, the team was encouraged and supported by local residents and more students. At 10pm, the event started on time, with the inspiring music, more and more students joined in the group and jogged round the stadium, carrying light sticks in their hands. In less than 10 minutes, the Xuri Stadium transformed into an ocean with vigor and happiness. In half an hour, some guitarists sang song and the whole stadium was buried in the music.

When asked about the meaning of the event, the organizers believed the event could arouse students' love to jogging and the campus lives in JNU, supported by the campus and teachers.
