International Workshop on Regional, Urban, and Spatial Economics in China held in our university

The International Workshop on Regional, Urban and Spatial Economics was held from 15th to 16th June in our university. The current session of the workshop was undertaken jointly by School of Economics and Institute of Industrial Economics of our university, two leading authoritative journals in the field of regional, urban and spatial economics studies Papers in Regional Science and Journal of Regional Science etc. Mr. Hu Jun, president of our university, Prof. dr. Jouke van Dijk, chef editor of Papers in Regional Science and Prof. dr. Mark Partridge, chef editor of Journal of Regional Science, all delivered speech on the forum.

Mr. Hu Jun said in his speech that Jinan University has a long tradition attaching great importance to our exchange and cooperation with universities and research institutes home and abroad; the university will make a concerted effort to cooperation with the two Journals so as to build a bridge of communication and exchanges and make this forum a feast of thoughts and ideas.
