Brief Introduction to Mr. Zhang Guoxiong
Zhang Guoxiong, enrolled in Wuhan University as undergraduate, majoring in history. There he got his doctor degree. During his study in Wuhan University, he acknowledged Mr. Shi Quan, a famous historiogeographer as his master. After he got his doctor degree in 1992, he entered the postdoctoral station of geography of Peking University.
*Mr. Zhang has long been dedicated to the studis of the history of overseas Chinese with Wuyi origin and the study of local geography of Wuyi. His representative works include: A History of Overseas Chinese with Wuyi Origin, Kaipin Watchtowers, On Origin & Development of Wuyi Culture, History of Population of Changjiang River Valley,etc*.
