ABOUT DEFU ZENG

Graduated from Fujian Medical University in 1990 and got the PhD, Professor DefuZeng then focused on postdoctoral research in Stanford University. He is currently a professor of hematopoietic cell transplantation and hematology department as well as diabetes immunology department in Beckman research institute and a professor of the National Medical Center of the of City of Hope in USA. Pro. Zeng has long been committed to the related researchin diabetes and post-transplant complications of immune pathogenesis and immunotherapy strategies,made a lot of breakthrough progress, and accessed to a number of research fundingfrom NIH and other institutions including the recent research funding of more than 500 million dollars.In recent years, he published more than 50 papers in internationally renowned magazines. In recent years, he published more than 50 papers in internationally renowned magazines, such as Journal of Clinical Investigation, Nature Communications, Blood, Journal of Immunology, Diabetes, Journal of Experimental Medicine, Science Translational Medicine, Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation etc.

This lecture will combine the frontier knowledge and the latest research progress in the relevant field. For the purpose of making academic exchanges and discussions with experts, understanding the current knowledge and expand academic horizons, graduate students and undergraduates are welcomed to participate in lecture!
