A case submitted by the advertising department of JNU's School of Journalism and Communication was one of 10 selected as excellent cases of advertising education and teaching reform at the 18th annual conference of China Advertising Education Academia, held at Lanzhou University on Aug.17. The conference theme was the innovation and development of new liberal arts and China advertising education.”
The JNU case was titled The Exploration and Practice of Cultivating Outstanding Advertising Talents Through 'Three Education Modes' in the Era of 'Digital + Intelligent' Marketing Communication. Yang Xianshun, party secretary of School of Journalism and Communication and a professor of advertising, presented the case at the conference with the measures and effects of Three Education Modes: digitization, training and internationalization. He accepted the certificate on behalf of the department.

The Three Education Modes teaching reform aims to respond actively to the challenges brought to advertising education by the digital and intelligent era, and to cultivate outstanding advertising talents with good qualities, international perspective, and outstanding practical and innovative ability in digital marketing communication. Through this reform, JNU's advertising major has received China-Russia Joint Program Accreditation, organized by the Ministry of Education. JNU students have won many awards in professional competitions, especially international competitions, and been widely praised by industry and academia.
