The Connotation of ¡°Jinan Spirit¡±
Basing on a wide range of discussions on the Jinan Spirit, the university defines the connotation of ¡°Jinan Spirit¡± as ¡°Loyalty, Sincerity, Integrity, Respect, Unremittingness, Inclusiveness, and Upholding unity of Knowledge and Practice.
The Jinan Spirit Forum was open in March this year as one of the important centenary celebration activities, which has invited all the faculty, students and alumni to contribute their own definition of ¡°Jinan Spirit¡±.
In this activity, the process of discussion is more important than result of discussion. The connotation of Jinan Spirit is of multi-aspects and multi-levels, and different people have their own ways of definition towards it. The purpose of discussion is to better introduce the Jinan Spirit to more people, and to provide a spiritual foundation and dynamics for the development of the university.
