Our Mission
Jinan University Alumni Assoication is a primary organization representing all Jinan alumni. It promotes communications and contacts between regional associations and fellow alumni all over the world. it supports and strengthens the university, promotes the Chinese national culture, and carry forward the university's tradition of patriostism.
Affairs
organize sodality or activities for fellow alumni
corrodiante and support regional associations activities
promote communications and contacts between fellow alumni, promote academic exchange.
Memebership
Before admitted to the assoication Alumni are to pay .
Alumni can join the present association if there is no regional association in place in your region.
Rights & Committements
all members have the right to vote or stand for election,
all members have the rights to provide suggestions to
all members can join or withdraw from the association voluntarily.
Organizations
The administrative body of the association include a representative assembly, consultants, Honorary director, director, deputy director, administrative committee, standing administrative committee, director and deputy director.
the Representative Assembly is the highest authority of the association, which is convened every five years by the standing administrative committee. The standing administrative committee has the right to move up or postpone the assembly.
All Jinan alumni organizations send representatives attend the assemby. The quota of representatives of each organization is subject to the decision of the standing administrative committee through consultation. Also, the assembly is held valid on condition that the number of the represenatatives present exceed 50%.
The commitment of the representative assembly:
implement and amend regulations of Jinan University Alumni Association;
review and discuss the policy of the association.
During the course of the Representative Assembly, a presidium will be set up to carry out the agenda of the assembly.
administrative committee is the executive body of the Representive Assembly. The term of service of the committee is five years.
The term of service for the folowing four posts director, deputy director, director and deputy director of the standing administrative committee is five years respectively.
Funds
The funds for the association are from:
the membershio fees
donation and grant-in-aid from alumni, individuals and organizations
funds from the University and affiliated organziations.
